Early-Phase clinical research aims mainly to determine the effects of the drug for the first time on humans: how it is absorbed, metabolized and excreted. During this phase, researchers also investigate potential side effects that occur based on the dosage levels. These early phase studies on experimental drugs can show the potential and future benefits of new compounds. Avicemer understands the complexity of conducting Early Phase clinical trials and  expanded capabilities to serve the research community in several locations. We currently support patient-based Early Phase clinical trials and plan to expand our capabilities to manage healthy-volunteer based studies.
